Well, hello there.
I’m Mike, also known as the Jedi Hermit. I would get into who I am and all that other BS, but no one really cares, so for my first blog post I thought I’d give you a heads up on what I’ll be covering here on my blog. I’m kind of a big fan of lists, so for fun I’ll give quick comments about why I am going to blog about said subject.
- Star Wars- This will be the subject I’ll blog about the most. I’m a BIG Star Wars geek and that includes the following, but not limited to: The Movies, Collectibles, Comics, the EU (hate all the post ROTJ stuff), the Clone Wars and...well anything that has to do with Star Wars. Oh, and I’ll even talk about that crappy MMO The Old Republic.
- Movies/TV- I am a big movie/tv geek as most of us geeks are, so as far as tv goes I’ll be blogging a lot about Falling Skies, The Walking Dead (don't get too excited about The Walking Dead, I’m usually critical of the show) and Dexter.
- Beer-Yes, I will be blogging about beer. Being 35 I’ve come to appreciate a great beer, and I’m not going to blog about those major beer companies either. I’m a microbrew guy, not a frat boy.
- Comics- I’ll be honest, comics are fairly new to me. I used to read them as a kid, but I stopped for some strange reason. My favorites as a kid were Batman ,Captain America ( my all time favorite hero),Spider-Man, Hulk, X-men and Spawn. I’m getting into the Star Wars comics now as well as some new ones, so all you comic vets will have to take it easy on me because my knowledge on this subject isn’t so great. But don’t worry... I’m a fast learner.
- Art- I’m not talking da Vinci when I say art. We have enough people talking about the fine arts. I’ll be talking about poster art, sculpting of action figures and statues, photography, and comic book art.
